Donate for the well-being of India’s children.

The act of giving, helping, and serving humankind is the highest form of compassion; it is what makes us humans. We are also aware that there are many less fortunate people in the world who depend on our kindness for their basic livelihood. It, therefore, becomes a responsibility to stand up in solidarity with them and donate for children so that they can live a normal life.

Wherein a children’s charitable institution is concerned, especially small to medium scale ones, revenues in the form of donations usually fluctuate dramatically from one month to another, as well as on a year to year basis. Therefore, when you donate for children monthly, it offers the NGOs and various such institutions a steady and predictable source of funding. It also allows them to prosper from other benefits of monthly revenue income.

Here are a few reasons why you must donate for children:

Financial benefits: Did you know that donating to an NGO or charitable institution can help you save tax? When you make a contribution to a registered charity in India, you will receive a tax receipt, which can be submitted while filing your Income Tax Returns exempting you under a certain tax slab.

Importance of Giving: When you donate for children, you inevitably teach others to care about the lesser fortunate. When people watch you give/donate, they are cognizant of the fact that giving back is the right thing to do and follow in your tracks.

Networking: When you donate, you become involved in a community that encourages and supports a cause close to your heart. As and when there is a fundraising event, you will meet new, like-minded people who care about the same cause as you.

Donation is the best way to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged; therefore, it is your responsibility to make sure that your donation makes a difference by rightly donating to an authentic charitable organisation! Save the Children is one such NGO in India that have dedicated themselves to the betterment of the downtrodden children of the nation. Donate to NGOs like Save the Children because what you're helping build, apart from a few children's lives, is also your nation's future.

  1. At VatsalyaGram, the entrance has a PALNA GRAH which has a comfortable cradle in a room. Parents who aren’t financially or situationally capable of raising their children on their own can leave their babies in the comfortable Palna. As soon as the baby is kept in the Palna, a buzzer informs the volunteers of VatsalyaGram about the baby. The volunteers pick the baby up from the cradle and the baby is taken for a medical checkup. Once the checkup is done, the arrival of the child is celebrated by all as an addition to the Vatsalya family, the same way the birth of a new child is celebrated. Once a baby is picked up by the volunteers of VatsalyaGram, the baby, from that moment, becomes a member of the Vatsalya family.
